Full description
South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.
The Exeter St Thomas Tithe Map and Apportionment records the site of the mills as being about 45 metres down stream (plot 634).

The mill is stated to be 'newly-erected' in adverts in the Exeter Flying Post and Western Times in July 1869. It is described as 'a new substantial brick and slated structure, with three floors' with a 'powerful new iron water-wheel'. A subsequent advert of 1893 indicates that it had six pairs of stones together with cleaning and dressing machinery.
