Dark linear cropmarks, interpreted as having formed over buried ditches, circa 2m wide, are visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1984. The partial cropmarks define the north, east and south sides of a possible rectilinear enclosure that measures circa 38m across. The morphology of the cropmarks suggests a late prehistoric or Roman date, although some degree of caution should be exercised, as it is equally possible the cropmarks are of geological or modern agricultural origin.
