Summary

Hut circle in Whittenknowles Rocks settlement of 3.5 metres dianeter with walls 2.0 metres wide by up to 0.8 metres high. Entrance in south-west. Interior occupied by clearance material. First recorded in 1999.

(03/08/1999) Whittenknowles Rocks. One of 29 confirmed hut circles within an area of dense clitter on a south-facing hillside some 600m north of Ditsworthy Warren House.
SX 58471 67082 Internal diameter measures 3.5m, with walls 2.0m wide (up to 0.8m high). Entrance in south-west. Interior occupied by clearance material.
