An orchard is depicted in the plot of land south and east of Combe Farm.

An earthwork pit, 15 by 24 metres in extent, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1976 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It is in a small plot of land around Combe farmstead that is depicted as orchard on the late-19th century maps. It is interpreted as an extractive pit which fell out of use by the late-19th century, and may have originated in the medieval or post-medieval period.
