Curvilinear parallel pale cropmarks, between approximately 2 and 12 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947. They are indistinct, but fit into the surrounding field pattern and are interpreted as having formed over the buried remains of field boundary banks that originated as part of a medieval strip field system. Dark cropmarks visible on aerial photographs taken in 2017 are even less clearly defined, but appear to follow the same pattern.
