Full description
Hood, A., 2010, Later Iron Age and Early Roman Settlement at Willand Road, Cullompton, 61, 65-66, 70, 75, 80 (Article in Serial). SDV363624.
A programme of archaeological works on the site of a new medical centre revealed a number of features. The earliest activity on the site was represented by a pit-like feature (2031) containing Early Neolithic pottery and worked flint. This is likely to be an example of structured deposition and indicative of Neolithic activity in the area.
