A ditch or hollow is identifiable as an earthwork.

Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2019-2020, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 2, Avon Valley to Plymouth (AI&M, formerly NMP) (Interpretation). SDV362982.

A ditch or hollow is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 and visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 as a north-east to south-west aligned earthwork circa 8m wide and 120m long on the gentle slopes north-west of Zeaston, Ugborough.
The visible earthwork does not correspond with any feature depicted on the Tithe Map for Ugborough or the Ordnance Survey 1880s 25inch First Edition map but is in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern.
The hollow is interpreted as probably the remains of a former field boundary of post-medieval to 19th century date that was removed prior to circa 1840
