Earthworks of linear and curvilinear banks and ditches, between 2m and 4m wide, and an irregularly shaped mound, circa 26m long by 14m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The curvilinear banks to the north and the L-shaped ditch to the west both define rectilinear enclosures which correspond, in part, with field boundaries shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map. Within the ditched enclosure to the west, several structures are depicted, the northern two of these possibly corresponding with the irregularly shaped mound. These structures, and the associated ditched enclosure, have been removed by the time of the late 19th century First Edition map, supporting the interpretation that the mound was possibly derived from the demolition of these structures. Additional structures may have likewise been present within the northern banked enclosure, although if so, they had evidently been demolished by the mid-19th century. Two sections of ditch which possibly form part of a relict northwest to southeast aligned field boundary are also visible to the southeast, although they do not correspond with any such features shown on the Tithe Map, so had probably passed out of use by this time.
