Large retilinear enclosure of 0.63 hectares shown at 'Piles Corner South' to the west of the central pound. The lower border merges into the clitter within Piles Copse, suggesting the woodland is now more extensive than when the circuit was laid out.

A wall, 1.5 metres wide and built of orthostats runs from the south-west corner of the enclosure, for 55 metres and terminates at a clitter-filled gully.
