A curvilinear earthwork ditch, from four to one metre wide, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2013, and on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. It broadly follows the contour along the side of a valley, dropping less than 5 metres over a visible extent of circa 180 metres. It is interpreted as the gutter of a post-medieval or 19th century catchmeadow, which is not depicted on the available historic mapping and presumably fell out of use by the late-19th century. However it is possible that this could be a trackway.
