A dark curvilinear cropmark, up to approximately 3 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1983. At its northern end it meets the junction of three field boundaries depicted on the 19th century maps and is interpreted as having formed over the buried remains of a former field boundary of medieval date.
