A pale linear cropmark, circa 1.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2006 and 2018. It is aligned east-west, on the same alignment as a linear feature depicted on late-19th century mapping immediately west of Lower Collaton. A valley runs east from this farmstead and the linear feature is tentatively interpreted as a post-medieval water management channel, possibly supplying the farm buildings.
