Two parallel curvilinear earthwork ditches, approximately one metre wide and 26 metres apart, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. They broadly follow the contour along the side of a valley, dropping less than 5 metres over a visible length of 100 metres. They are interpreted as the gutters of a post-medieval or 19th century catchmeadow. No features are depicted in this exact location on the available historic maps and any catchmeadow here presumably fell out of use by the late-19th century.
