Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Farmstead depicted, marked as Lodgworthy. Comprises ranges of buildings around the north, west and south sides of a yard with two small buildings also shown on the east side. The house is presumed to be the building on the south side and a horse engine house is depicted adjoining a barn on the west side.

Lodgeworthy marked. Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the farmstead to have changed little, although the two small buildings on the east side of the yard are no longer shown. A pump ('P') is marked in the yard and one of the buildings on the north side of the yard is shown as open-fronted and probably, therefore, a linhay.
