The earthwork does not correspond with any curvilinear features in this location.

A long curvilinear earthwork hollow is visible.

A long curvilinear hollow, circa 20m wide and 700m long, is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The earthwork extends from Mill Cross (SX73856113) in the southwest to Allercombe Farm in the northeast. It does not correspond with any features in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, although numerous field boundaries of medieval character are shown here which intersect and possibly truncate the earthwork hollow. The character of the earthwork supports the interpretation that it represents the course of a medieval hollow way which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century. An additional earthwork hollow from north of Rattery Viaduct to Mill Cross (MDV128209) recorded to the southwest may form part of this routeway. Some degree of caution should be exercised as it is also possible the earthwork represents a natural channel.
