Earthworks of curvilinear and linear banks and ditches, between 5m and 10m wide and northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The earthworks define several parallel rectilinear land parcels which measure circa 25m wide. The form of the earthworks supports the interpretation that they represent field boundaries of a possible medieval strip fields. With exception of the northwest to southeast aligned ditch, which is interpreted as evidence of post-medieval re-organisation of the land form here, the earthworks do not correspond with any field boundaries shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, suggesting that they had passed out of use by this time.
