Summary

The northern end of the Roman road from Charmouth to Axminster is marked on the first and second edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey mapd and survives as a holloway and as an earthwork visible on LiDAR imagery.

An agger 24 feet wide can be seen across a meadow. It points diagonally across the main road into Woodbury Lane.

The agger is still visible, 0.6 metres wide in places though there is quarry disturbance in the higher part.
