Summary
One of two isolated huts south-east of the main Merrivale settlement (see also MDV12829). Internal diameter measures 5.2 metres, hut has double walling 1.0 metres wide and 0.5 metres high. There is a 2.0 metre wide entrance gap on the south side. Recorded in 1979 and 1994. Visible on 2015 aerial photography.

Hut circle visible on 1964 air photograph (according to the Ordnance Survey).

Two hut circles on a gentle south slope, now waterlogged due to breaks in a leat to the north.
B: SX 5580 7476. A Type 2 hut, internal diameter 5.2 metres and double walling 1.0 metres wide and 0.5 metres high. There is a 2.0 metre wide entrance gap on the south side. Surveyed at 1:10 000 on MSD and at 1:2500.

(Visited 11/08/1994) Isolated stone hut circle situated on a gentle south-west facing slope overlooking the valley of an unnamed tributary of the River Walkham. Terraced into the hillside. Simple plan and double orthostat walling type. Interior measures 5.6 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.4 metre wide wall standing up to 0.8 metres high. The north-east wall is formed by a large earthfast boulder. The doorway survives as a south-west facing, partly blocked gap in the hut wall, lined on both sides by granite slabs.
