Summary

A bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s on the north-east facing slopes of a combe to the north-west of Modbury. The bank is probably the remains of a field boundary of medieval or post-medieval origin that was removed prior to the 1840s. The bank has probably been levelled.
