Earthworks of a curvilinear hollow, between 15m and 20m wide, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 and 2019. The earthwork hollow is visible to a length of circa 760m and extends from a road at its northern limit (SX73265553) in a southwest direction towards Broadley (SX73065480), crossing a prominent spur. Whilst the earthwork hollow could be of geological origin, its oblique orientation across this spur would perhaps suggest this is unlikely. It does not correspond with any features shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps and is therefore interpreted as a possible medieval or post-medieval trackway which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
