Summary

Tin dressing floor to the north of raddick lane. A good example of an early xix century tin dressing floor with leat embankment, wheelpits, settling pits and a characteristic open sided enclosure. Part of keaglesborough tin mine (referenced in 1538,1600,1611,1623,1625,1639,1801,1810, 1824,1832,1834,1873). Some trees to be cleared during 1979 (greeves).

Dressing floor 860m north-north-east of Norsworthy Bridge forming part of Keaglesborough Mine. The eastern edge of the dressing floor which has been terraced into the hillside is denoted by a drystone revetment standing up to 1.8m high. Within the terrace there are several hollows denoting the position of buddles and other apparatus. These are up to 0.7m deep and have relatively steep sides.
