Earthworks of an irregularly shaped pit, circa 26m long by 13m wide, with an outer curvilinear bank, circa 3m wide, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019. The earthworks correspond with a copse shown on the late 19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map. An earthwork labelled as ‘Quarry’ is also shown in proximity to the southwest. This supports the interpretation that the earthworks represent a possible post-medieval or early 19th century quarry, with associated spoil up-cast, which had likely passed out of use by the mid to late 19th century.
