A ditch up to circa 4m wide is identifiable as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019 on the northern bank of the Sheepham Brook. It is possible slightly embanked on the western edge.
The visible earthworks, possibly the remains of a field boundary or drain, do not correspond with any feature depicted on the Tithe Map for Modbury and might therefore have been removed prior to circa 1840.
It is unclear if the ditch cuts or is cut by a catch-meadow gutter south-east of Higher Sheepham (MDV128313).
