Recorded on Monkeokehampton Tithe Map and Apportionment as part of plot 11, House, Smithery etc.

Photo of the interior of the forge, showing the inserted stack and hearth. The forge appears to have been built in the remains of an older house with the remains of a stack. This historic stack is inserted and so the original building could be older (i.e. medieval). There are a few good features surviving, but most relate to the 20th century forge. Described as surprisingly interesting little building.
