The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25inch First Edition map.

A bank circa 4m wide and 75m long is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 as an earthwork on the north-west facing combe slopes to the north-west of Dunwell Cross.
The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25inch First Edition map.
The bank is interpreted as the remains of a field boundary of probable post-medieval date that was cleared prior to circa 1880.
