Dark curvilinear cropmarks, interpreted as having formed over buried ditches circa 2.5m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1984. The cropmarks define two circuits of a largely complete rectilinear enclosure which measures circa 80m long by 70m wide, with the circuits spaced circa 4m apart. Two curvilinear cropmark features which extend from the southeast corner of the enclosure and across its middle may represent associated features. The morphology of the cropmarks suggests a late prehistoric or Roman date.
