A dark linear cropmark, approximately a metre wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 and 2020. It does not easily fit into the surrounding field system, and could have formed over an earlier ditch, perhaps an enclosure of prehistoric or Romano-British date. Alternatively it might have a modern origin, though it is not on the correct alignment for a drainage ditch and is not clear what its function would have been.
