Summary

Two possible hut circles lie 15 metres apart at the foot of the steep east facing slope below Wild Tor. Both are largely obscured by dense heather cover making identification somewhat tentative and neither possesses an identifiable entrance.

Probert, S. A. J. + Newman, P., 2003-2004, Measured survey North Dartmoor Military Range Okehampton Range: Monument Baseline Condition Survey, S. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV350801.

(28/10/2003) Centred SX 62758770. Two possible hut circles lie 15 metres apart at the foot of the steep east facing slope below Wild Tor. Both are largely obscured by dense heather cover making identification somewhat tentative and neither possesses an identifiable entrance.
At SX 62768771 is a stony ring 3.5 metres in diameter with a gently sloping interior.
At SX 62758769 is a relatively large hut 7.0 metres in internal diameter with walls around 1.2 metres wide and 0.4 metres high.
There are no traces of a contemporary field system to accompany these features.
