Linear banks and ditches are visible as earthworks crossing the valley bottom to the north-west of Lixton Farm on aerial photographs of 1946.
The visible earthworks correspond in part with field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Aveton Gifford and those which do not are largely in keeping with the character of the surrounding depicted field pattern, characterised by HLC as post-medieval enclosure with medieval elements, due to subsequent remodelling in the later-19th century, as depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25inch map.
A possible circular ditch-defined enclosure at circa SX69395034 could be evidence of a small plot such as a nursery or orchard.
