(21/10/2003) At ?SX62408786 an unfinished millstone lies embedded in the turf on the left bank of Steeperton Brook. The circular granite block measures 1.55 metres in diameter and is at least 0.5 metres thick. The edge, where visible, displays rough chisel marks giving it a crenelated appearance.

[The Grid Reference given by the English Heritage 2004 survey is SX 6240 8786 but the GIS layer based on the survey work places this artefact at SX 62396 88756 and nothing appears to be located at the former NGR, so the latter has been used to map the location of this feature.
