An L-shaped cropmark of a ditch is visible.

Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2019-2020, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 2, Avon Valley to Plymouth (AI&M, formerly NMP) (Interpretation). SDV362982.

An L-shaped cropmark of a ditch up to circa 2m wide and 146m long is visible on aerial photographs of 1984 on the west-facing combe slopes north-west of Yarnacombe Farm.
The cropmark crosses and possibly cuts, thereby post-dating the cropmark of a ditched enclosure of probable prehistoric date (MDV36994).
It does not correspond with any feature depicted on the Tithe Map for Modbury. It is, however, roughly parallel to, and could be interpreted as being in keeping with the character of, the extant field boundary immediately to the north, part of a field pattern characterised as of medieval origin.
This might support the interpretation of the cropmark as evidence of a former boundary of medieval or post-medieval date, that had been cleared by the early 19th century.
