Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Eggworthy House is depicted on the late 19th century historic map, but is not shown on the 1840s Tithe Map, so appears to be mid-late 19th century in date.

By the time of the early 20th century historic map depiction, Eggworthy House has been extended to the south-east, apparently doubling in size.

Eggworthy House is mentioned in the entry for Eggworthy Farm; built in 1856; described initially in the Maristow steward's accounts during construction as a farmhouse, but served as a shooting lodge after completion.
