Not shown on the 1840s Tithe Map, when this plot (1869) contained older buildings (MDV12826), this building is shown first on the later 19th century historic map. Large rectangular building, aligned south-east by north-west, with narrow structure attached at the south-west end.

Rock Cottage can be seen on images dated 2009 and 2011. Large house retaining double coach doorway at the south-western end, as well as smaller double doors further along this north-eastern face of the building. Modern extension visible to the south-west of the original building.

Modern mapping depicts this property as 'Rock Cottage'; a rectangular building aligned south-east by north-west. The later wing extending to the south-west that can be seen at the property and on aerial photographs is not shown on the base mapping.
