Des=worksheet/parish file. Shaden moor. Vis=estimated -/-/1976 (greeves) evidence of parallel reave system running across shaden moor from approx nne to ssw from western continuation of main saddlesborough reave. These parallel boundaries can be traced in modern boundaries between shaden moor and brag lane. Shaden moor has been practically 'improved' by modern agricultural practice and the reave system has been damaged.

Fleming, a. /the dartmoor reaves/(1988)40. On shaden moor parallel reaves on the same axis run up to a modern wall on the line of saddlesborough reave (sx56sw-332) are part of a single system with minimum width of 2.5 km and minimum length of c 1.0 km (fleming).

At least five parallel reaves running across Shaden Moor from western continuation of main Saddlesborough Reave. Divisions of these reaves into fields only visible to extreme east of map. Some of these reaves continue into farmland to the north of Shaugh Prior in a fossilised form, crf: SX56SW/91.
