South Hams District Council, 2020, 1111/20/FUL: Barn at Higher Soar (Planning Application). SDV363943.
Information submitted with a planning application for conversion shows the building to be a single storey concrete structure. It appears to have built as a bomb storage bunker in about 1940. It was subsequently roofed and used as a barn. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and has scissor tie timber trusses.
