Earthworks of two converging hollows, circa 9m wide and visible to a length of circa 405m, are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2000 and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2010 and 2013. The hollows are northeast to southwest aligned and are truncated by two historic field boundaries. They do not correspond with any features depicted in this location on the late 19th century Ordnance Survey First Edition map, nor do they respect the surrounding historic field pattern characterised as post-medieval enclosures. They are therefore interpreted as former trackways of medieval or post-medieval date which had fallen out of use by the late 19th century.

Understanding Landscapes Project, 2020-2021, University of Exeter Understanding Landscapes Project - Volunteer data, 337.3 (Interpretation). SDV363949.

Possible disused trackway not shown on historical maps that stretched between Gulworthy cottages and Gulworthy Cross but may extend across the roads to Colcharton Copper mine. Sx444727.
