NERC, 2013, LiDAR DTM data (1m resolution) Tellus: Tamar Aerial Survey project area, LIDAR Tellus LAST RETURN 01-JUL-2013 to 31-AUG-2013 (Cartographic). SDV363955.

Hegarty, C., Houghton, E., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2020-2021, Tamar/Lidar; A Single Source Approach to Landscape Survey and Socially Distanced Community Archaeology Area 1 (AI&M project) (Interpretation). SDV363945.

Linear and curvilinear earthwork banks, between 4m and 10m wide and northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The earthworks do not correspond with any features shown on the late 19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map but are in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern, which is characterised as medieval enclosures and Barton fields. The earthworks are therefore interpreted as relict field boundaries of a medieval field system which had passed out of use by the late 19th century. Some elements of this field system (at SX44427373) are probably of post-medieval origin.
These earthworks were recorded as three separate features (360.11, 360.12 & 360.13) during the Understanding Landscapes Project. They are probably associated and so have been incorporated into a single record.

Understanding Landscapes Project, 2020-2021, University of Exeter Understanding Landscapes Project - Volunteer data, 360.11, 360.12, 360.13 (Interpretation). SDV363949.

360.11

360.12
Boundary bank with right angle turn possibly taken across to the other side of the access drive into Honeytor. SX 44320 73555.
360.13
5 or 6 strip fields that span existing boundaries and meet with disused boundaries not shown on epoch 1. SX 44576 73846.
