Earthworks of curvilinear banks, circa 20m long by 5m wide, either side of an oval pit, 23m long by 9m wide, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The visible earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted in this location on the late 19th century Ordnance Survey First Edition map. They are interpreted as a possible post-medieval or 19th century extractive pit with associated spoil heaps which had likely passed out of use by the late 19th century.
