A bank is identifiable as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 and 2019 crossing reclaimed land in the Tamar Valley, north-west of Ferry Farm.
The bank is up to 4m wide and extends for approximately 21m from the lowest natural elevation of the north-facing valley slopes north-east towards the river channel. It is possible that the bank is the remains of causeway providing access to the river channel across the pre-reclamation saltings or marshes, dating potentially to the medieval or post-medieval period.
