Curvilinear banks and hollows are identifiable as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019 crossing the contours of the west and south-west facing slopes to the north and south of Mount Tamar, Bere Ferrers.
The visible curvilinear earthworks do not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Bere Ferrers or the Ordnance Survey 25inch First or Second Edition map. However, they are in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern and might be the remains of field boundaries of medieval origin.
Two or three linear elements to the west of Mount Tamar do correspond with depicted boundaries and are probably post-medieval to 19th century in date.
