Linear banks and hollows are identifiable as very subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in2013 and 2019 crossing the contours of the west and north-west facing g slopes to the west of Slymeford Farm.
The visible earthworks do not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Bere Ferrers or the Ordnance Survey 25inch First or Second Edition map. However, they are in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern and might be the remains of field boundaries of post-medieval origin, perhaps with medieval antecedents.
Alternatively, it is possible the subtle earthworks are effects of modern drainage.
The earthworks include those noted by the Understanding Landscapes project under ID 292.3.

Understanding Landscapes Project, 2020-2021, University of Exeter Understanding Landscapes Project - Volunteer data, 292.3 (Interpretation). SDV363949.
