Hegarty, C., Houghton, E., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2020-2021, Tamar/Lidar; A Single Source Approach to Landscape Survey and Socially Distanced Community Archaeology Area 1 (AI&M project) (Interpretation). SDV363945.

Earthwork banks which define a single linear feature, 9m wide and northwest to southeast aligned are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2010 and 2013. A pale linear cropmark is also visible in this location on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2000. The visible earthworks extend to a length of circa 635m. They do not correspond with any linear features in this location on the late 19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map. They are interpreted as a possible trackway of between medieval to 19th century date which had passed out of use by the late 19th century, or a late 20th century service trench.

Understanding Landscapes Project, 2020-2021, University of Exeter Understanding Landscapes Project - Volunteer data, 337.5 (Interpretation). SDV363949.

There appears to be a nearly straight line across possibly 6 fields which may have been an ancient track. Clearly visible as a crop mark at SX 44610 71835.

Simkins, D., 2023, Gunnislake to Roborough Tamar Raw Water Trunk Main. Statutory notice W7725 dated 3rd May 1989 (Correspondence). SDV365627.

Reported as a possible modern pipeline trench, on a projected line between Buckland Monachorum and the Tamar.
