Earthworks of a curvilinear ditch, circa 14m wide and northeast to southwest aligned, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2010 and 2013. The earthworks do not correspond with any curvilinear features shown in this location on the late-19th century Ordnance Survey First Edition map but are in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern, which is characterised as medieval enclosures. They are interpreted as defining a possible relict field boundary of medieval date which had passed out of use by the late 19th century. It has been bisected towards its southwest extent by a later field boundary of post-medieval or 19th century date.
