Earthworks of a linear bank and ditch, circa 10m wide and both northeast to southwest aligned, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2010. The earthworks do not correspond with any linear features shown in this location on the late-19th century Ordnance Survey First Edition map but are in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern, which is characterised as Barton fields. They are interpreted as possible relict field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval date which had passed out of use by the late 19th century.
