A narrow curvilinear ditch is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data. It has a curving south-east to north-west trajectory between a small enclosed area of rough ground and a field boundary.
The ditch is situated across plots recorded as a mix of arable, bog and coarse pasture in the Tithe Apportionment. The Ordnance Survey 25 inch First Edition map depicts a spring at the north-west part of the ditch with small stream issuing from here and flowing to the north along the field boundary. Mid-20th century aerial imagery depicts the ditch emerging from the enclosed rough ground and joining the small stream. Modern maps show a stream issuing from the edge of the rough ground.
The ditch is therefore interpreted as the path of a small stream issuing from rough ground on the moorland, crossing the corner of the field to flow alongside the field boundary, and is therefore considered to be natural in origin. It has not been transcribed.
