Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The depressions do not correspond with any depicted features.

The earthwork to the west of the farm was initally transcribed as part of the Tamar Valley NMP survey. Further details from the survey database, including aerial photograph references and interpretive text, are awaiting accessioning.

Two earthwork depressions are visible.

An oval depression circa 20 metres in width and a larger and more clearly defined irregular shaped depression circa 35 metres in width are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data in the vicinity of Trentworthy Farm.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available 19th century historic maps. The depression to the west of the farm was transcribed as part of the Tamar Valley NMP survey. The earthworks are interpreted to represent the remains of former post-medieval to 19th century extractive pits.
