An earthwork hollow, approximately 28 metres in diameter, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2013. It is sited in a slightly lower lying area between two areas of higher ground, and corresponds with an area of differing vegetation outlined with a dashed line on the late-19th century maps. It is tentatively interpreted as a post-medieval dewpond, though barrows and extractive pits are recorded in the wider vicinity and other interpretations are possible.
A feature in this location had already been transcribed as a mound for the previous NMP aerial survey, but it is not clear whether this was due to a difference in how the feature manifested or how it was interpreted in the earlier survey.
