Two oval earthwork hollows, 26 by 18 metres in size, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2013. They may be geological in origin, or extractive pits. No earthworks are depicted in this location on the late-19th century maps, where this plot of land is depicted as rough ground, and extraction of materials from an uncultivated area is likely to have predated the late-19th century. One of the pits may be the same as a feature transcribed by the previous NMP project 25 metres to the east.
