The earthworks do not correspond with any features shown in this location.

The western of the two pits corresponds with a circular earthwork.

Two irregularly shaped pits, both circa 14m long by 8m wide, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013.
No features are shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, although the western of the two pits does correspond with a circular earthwork depicted on the late 19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map. They are therefore interpreted as possible post-medieval or early to mid-19th century extractive pits which had probably passed out of use by the late 19th century. The pits are located either side of a removed field boundary.
