Two sub-oval mounds are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. The earthworks both measure circa 28m long by 15m wide and are located along the inside edge of a combe. They do not correspond with any features shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps.
These earthworks were recorded as possible Bronze Age barrows during the Understanding Landscapes Project (ULP 698.1). This interpretation seems unlikely given their location within a combe and they are therefore also interpreted as possible post-medieval or 19th century spoil heaps, or natural features.
